Ann M. Young

HEBRON, Ind. -- Died at the home of her daughter in Burlington, Iowa, Ann M. Young, in the 86th year. She was born in Mifflin county, Pa., September, 1806, and was married to William Young and died February 4, 1893. She lived in Porter and Lake counties a good many years and was well known in this vicinity. She leaves a daughter Mrs. Lydia Dunham, who resides at Burlington where Grandma Young has made her home for ten years or more. Her maiden name was Hough and was a sister to Elias Hough, formerly a resident of Hebron but now living with his son near Orchard Grove. Her remains were brought to Palmer, Ind., and the funeral services were held in the Salem Church four miles north of here by Rev. A. P. DeLong, of Crown Point, and the body interred in the cemetery adjoing by the will of her husband who had preceded her a good many years before.
