SALT CREEK.
Salt creek has been caused to mourn the loss of one of its most respected and loved citizens, Mrs. Martha J. Yost, who died last Saturday morning after an illness of 10 days. She leaves 4 children to mourn her loss, all of whom were present at her death, and to whom she gave parting words of council and advice. She was a good Christian, a kind mother and an obliging neighbor. Her funeral took place at the Presbyterian church of this place, conducted by Rev. John Smith, of Chesterton. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community in their loss.
