William Wittenmyre
Mr. Thomas H. Fifield, of South Bend, was here from Saturday to Tuesday morning, having come to attend the burial of Mr. Wittenmyre and to visit friends. Father Fifield, since he left here has been working steadily in Marvin Campbell's tin-shop, and the recent sale of that establishment may leave him quite too much at leisure for his comfort. Myron Campbell, Mr. Fifield's son-in-law, the latter informs us, is serving now as teller of the South Bend Bank at a salary of $1,000, with a prospect of permanence. They are to be congratulated on their comfortable circumstances and prospects.
