Nancy Whitlock
DIED. -- On Tuesday night, November 8, at 11:30 o'clock, at the residence of her son in Chesterton, Mrs. Nancy Whitlock, at the age of 82 years, 4 months, and 1 day. She came to Chesterton from South Bend two weeks ago, to spend a few weeks visiting her son, Mr. T. K. Whitlock, in apparently excellent health. About a week ago she began to feel bad, but no one thought her very ill. On Tuesday night she was suddenly taken worse, and in a very short time expired. Her death was a severe blow to her relatives here. She leaves two sons and three daughters to mourn her loss. They are Mr. T. K. Whitlock of Chesterton, Washington Whitlock and Mrs. N. Waterman, of Oswego, N. Y., and Mrs. C. Mosher and Mrs. S. A. Shanahan, of South Bend. The remains were taken to South Bend Wednesday evening for burial. Funeral services will be held Thursday from the residence of Mrs. Mosher, 517 South Main street.
