Fannie E. Weyant

OBITUARY.
Died, on the 29th inst., at her residence in Valparaiso, Mrs. Fannie E. Weyant, in the 45th year of her age.

The deceased was born in Albany, N. Y., Feb. 28, 1740. In 1859 she was married to Nathaniel S. Weyant, her maiden name being Birley. In 1865 they moved to Valparaiso, where they continued to live to the days of the deaths, the husband July 10, 1878, and the wife July 29, 1884. She leaves a family of 6 children, 1 daughter and 5 sons, to mourn their loss. They are bereaved, indeed, being deprived of both their parents. She was a faithful, loving mother, doing all within her power to raise her children right. She was a firm believer in christianity though not a member of any church.

The funeral services took place in the Baptist church being conducted by Elder E. S. Riley, after which the remains were buried in the new cemetery. May the richest benediction of the orphans God rest upon the bereaved children.

[Note: The year of birth should be 1840.]
