John Tofte returned last Thursday from Minnesota, where he had attended the funeral of his step-father and transacted some business relative to the settlement of the decedent's estate. Mr. Tofte was accompanied by his father's family, who come to share his home indefinitely. Mr. Tofte's widowed mother is over eighty years of age.
