LOCAL.
The body of an unknown woman 25 years old, unclad except with shoes and stockings, was found dead last Friday morning on the lake shore 6 miles this way from Michigan City, seeming to have been some days in the water, as if thrown out from a boat and washed ashore, her throat appearing to have been cut. The place was in this county, and the Inter-Ocean, special shows that Dr. Paramore was notified to hold an inquest, which was done, resulting in a verdict that her death was drowning, the appearance of a cut upon her neck, on closer notice, proving an abrasion caused by flood wood and the like with which she had been tossed and bruised.
