Cornelia Talcott

LOCAL.
Grandpa and Grandma Ball, as the old doctor and his wife are rather familiarly known and called by their numerous friends in this city, arrived here from Kansas under the escort of their son, Mr. E. Ball, Friday evening, Jan. 22 in a fair condition of health and spirites for persons so infirm. They left their daughter Cornelia, wife of H. W. Talcott, Esq., at her residence in Iola, Kansas, in a critical condition of sickness, having been many months distressed with rheumatism, and on Thursday evening following they received a telegram announcing her death that afternoon, and that her funeral would be on the following Sunday.
