Harrison Steward

DIED.
Week before last Mr. Harrison Steward, marble dealer of this city, went by railway on a trip across the Kankakee to put up work, collect some money due him and solicit further orders. He was feeling badly when he left, but recovered Saturday enough to make the journey home. From that time onward he was very sick with fever and disorder of the bowels, with a mild delirium, till Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock when he fell into sinking chills and died. He left a wife and 6 children to mourn their loss. Mr. Steward was a prominent, upright and reputable citizen, a kind and indulgent husband and father, whose presence will be sadly missed by his family and neighbors. Several distant relatives have been telegraphed to, and Mr. N. H. Williams, of Paola, Kansas, and perhaps some others from a distance, will be here to attend the funeral, which will be at 2 p. m., on Friday, at the Presbyterian church.
