Stephen Spencer

DIED.
SPENCER. -- At his residence near Lake Station, in Porter county, Ind., Nov. 8, 1880, of typhoid fever, Mr. Stephen Spencer, aged 54 years, 23 days.

Deceased was born in Seneca county, O., October 26, 1825. when a boy he moved to this county. He was married December 15, 1858, to Lovina Sears. He was the father of ten children, four of whom preceded him to the grave. The remaining six mourn his loss. He was a kind husband and father and a friendly neighbor. He seemed to live more for his family than for himself. He was upright in his dealings. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood.
