MRS. HENRY SMITH PASSES AWAY TODAY AT LAPORTE
(From Friday's Daily)
Mrs. Henry Smithy, nearly all her life a resident of this city, died this morning in Laporte, and the message was received here soon afterward by her children, who knew nothing of the illness that caused the demise. They went there immediately. Mrs. Smith and her husband left here about five years ago. Mr. Smith and the following children survive: Mrs. Henry Mann, Jesse, Fred, Jack and Nathan Smith, and Mrs. George Keyes, of this city; Mrs. Hazel Cady, Mrs. Belle Kirkham, Mrs. Fonda Edwards, and Ray and Jem Smith, of Laporte. The body will be brought here for burial, but the funeral arrangements are not yet complete.
