Coroner's Inquest.

REPORT OF THE CORONER'S INQUEST, HELD ON Monday, July, 13, 1874, over the body of Belle Slater, then lying dead at the house of her father, John Slater, in Center Township, Porter County, Ind.

The jury impanelled in the above cause, after having viewed the body and heard the evidence in the case, found that the deceased came to her death by gunshot wound accidently inflicted by her brother, Jackson Slater. Said deceased was about 22 years old, and had no valuables on her person. The body was left in the charge of her parents for burial.
