Charles Shultz

CHESTERTON CHIPS
Charles Shultz, a Union township farmer, becoming tired of life on account of ill health, committed suicide Saturday afternoon, taking the Paris Green route to the Great Beyond. He was found shortly after drinking the poison in a dying condition by one of his sons. Medical aid was summoned but the man was beyond help, and he died in great agony Sunday morning at 2 o'clock. Shultz was 54 years old, and leaves a wife and five children. The funeral services were held Tuesday at the Blachley Corners church, and the remains taken to Westville for interment.
