Mrs. Charles Rapp

AT HOME AND ABROAD.
Mrs. Rapp, an estimable lady and wife of Charles Rapp, died last Saturday at her residence east of town, after a long and painful illness. Her ailment was consumption, from which she has suffered for the past four years. On New Years' day she took to her bed first, and since then gradually grew worse. She leaves a grown up family of four children, and a husband to mourn her loss, besides a large circle of friends. The funeral took place Monday from the Swedish Lutheran church of Chesterton, and her remains were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of sorrowing. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community, in this their hour of bereavement.
