Sarah L. Purdy

OBITUARY.
Departed this life, at the home of her father, Jmaes Purdy, of Morgan Prairie, on Monday the 25th day of April inst., Sarah L. Collar, in the 21st year of her age. She united with the Christian church when quite young, of which she lived a consistent member till her death. Her conduct as a Christian and her patience during her protracted illness, were exemplar and uniform. She left a husband, an infant daughter, and a large circle of friends to mourn her loss.

But while friends mourn her loss below,
She's safe in heaven above;
She's left the land of pain and woe
To join in songs of love.

When life's sad pilgimage is past,
And all its labor done,
We'll meet again in heaven at last,
Where all the good have gone.
