Mrs. A. T. Perkins
LOCAL.
Mrs. A. T. Perkins, of Adrian, Mich., started to visit her son, Lewis Perkins, of this city, about one month ago, but was taken ill on the road, and remained ill after reaching Valparaiso, until last Wednesday morning at 2 o'clock when she expired. Her husband was telegraphed for, and reached her bed side about three hours before she died. Nearly fifty-one years those two had lived in happiness and through sorrows together, and what must have been the anguish of the husband as he bade farewell to his long cherished companion. The remains accompanied by father and son were taken back to her home Thursday.
