Elizabeth J. Pearce

DIED.
Mrs. Eliza. J., wife of Mr. George W. Pearce, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Pearce, of this city, died very unexpectedly, of apoplexy, early last Sabbath morning. She was born Nov. 25, 1851, and consequently was at the time of her death 28 years, 11 months and 20 days old. She was highly respected in the community in which she lived and greatly loved by her immediate neighbors. She leaves a husband and three children, two girls and one boy, to mourn her loss. Elder E. S. Riley preached her funeral sermon on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at Cherry Glen school-house, after which her remains were taken to Valparaiso and interred in the new cemetery.
