CHESTERTON.
Word reached here last week of the death of Miss Jessie Owen. The community was shocked at the intelligence. Jessie was a bright, vivacious, innocent girl, with every promise of a happy future. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Owen, formerly of Hageman, Ind., and now of Englewood, Ill. Her age was 15 years. The funeral was Friday last, at Englewood. Many citizens of Chesterton were present at the obsequies.
