Frank Oscar Nolan

Obituary.
Died, on Tuesday, April 4th, 1893, in Chicago, of inflammation of the lungs, Frank Oscar Nolan, aged 32 years and six months. The remains were interred in the Chesterton cemetery Thursday, April 6th, funeral services being held in the Swedish Lutheran church and conducted by Rev. J. B. Bennett.

Deceased was born in Orlunda, Sweden, on the 4th of October, and was the oldest of four children born to Andrew and Mary Nolan. In 1871 the family emigrated to the United States, settling in Chesterton. The father moved aferwards to Lake Station, but Oscar remained here until last August, when he went to work in Chicago. He was well-known, and liked by all. He never married. In his death his family has suffered a severe blow, and have the sincere sympathy of many friends. He is deeply mourned by his only surviving brother, who was warmly attached to him, and who takes the loss very hard, and also by his several relatives and many friends.
