Horace B. Miller

FUNERAL OF HORACE B. MILLER HELD TODAY
Funeral services over the body of Horace B. Miller were conducted this afternoon in the Methodist church, where Rev. T. J. Bassett officiated before a crowd that nearly filled the auditorium. Old soldiers and Sons of Veterans attended in their respective bodies, and members of the bar and courthouse officials were included in the assemblage. Judge McMahan and Judge Harry L. Crumpacker, under whom Mr. Miller had served, were present. Dr. C. A. Brooke assisated in the service, and Mrs. Bessie Brown Fisher and Mrs. Ben Smith sang.

Each side of the altar was draped with an American flag, and the casket was banked with beautiful flowers. Active pallbearers were Leonard Maxwell, Dr. Glen Dolson, B. H. Kinne, Clinton Jones, Clarence Stockman and Dr. R. D. Blount, all Masons. The honorary pallbearers, chosen from the ranks of the G. A. R., were John Ritter, E. M. Burns, J. N. Finney, T. B. Louderback, W. L. Wood and W. H. Willet. Interment was in Graceland.
