Isaac Meddaugh
Obituary.
Died on the 22d inst., at the residence of his son near Luther's school-house, Mr. Isaac Meddaugh in the 76th year of his age. The deceased was born in Summerset county, Penn., March 22d, 1810. He was married in 1830 to Nancy Bricker, by whom he had eight children three of whom survive him. His wife having died, he was remarried in 1846 to Hannah Cremer by whom he had six children, three of whom are still living. Mr. Meddaugh was not a member of any church but was a regular and close reader of the bible and a firm believer in Christianity. He leaves a wife and six children to mourn their loss. The funeral services take place at Luther's school-house on the 23d inst. at 10 o'clock, being conducted by Elder Riley of the Baptist church.
