Magaret McCord

Mrs. Margaret Orange.

DIED. -- On Thursday, Dec. 6th at her home in Burdick, Mrs. Margaret Orange, aged 52 years, 11 months. The funeral occurred on Friday, the 7th inst., and the remains interred in the Burdick Cemetery. The deceased was born on January 2, 1836, and was the daughter of Jessie and Nancy McCord. She was married to Thomas Orange on July 17th, 1855. From this union there were four children, three of whom survive her, one having died May 2nd, 1874. Her husband died in 1864, and since that time she has struggled on in widowhood. She was sick for one year and nine months, and though her suffering were severe, yet she was patient, and willing to go. She was rational to the last. Her funeral was largely attended.
