Julia Maher
CHESTERTON CHIPS.
Mrs. Julia Maher, one of the early settlers of this county, died at her home in Liberty township November 19, of dropsy, after a brief illness, aged 64 years. Deceased was married to Matthew Maher in New York state, and came to Porter county 35 years ago. She was a mother of six children, for of whom survive her. The funeral services were conducted in St. Patrick's church, Chesterton, Thursday, and were attended by a large number of relatives and friends.
