John A. Magnuson

CHESTERTON CHIPS
Died, at his home in Gossettsburg, on Tuesday, July 25, at 11:30 p. m., Mr. John A. Magnuson, of liver trouble and yellow jaundice, aged 52 years, 6 months and 27 days. Mr. Magnuson was born in Sweden and came to this country about 20 years ago, settling in Porter county, where he has since resided. The funeral was held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the residence, and the interment took place in the Blake cemetery at Lake Station. The deceased was a nephew of County Commissioner Peter J. Lindell. He leaves a wife and seven children, four boys and three girls, to mourn his loss.
