Mrs. Catharine Long, wife of C. Long, of Jackson township, died on Friday evening, the 4th inst., after a long and severe illness. She was afflicted with inflammatory rheumatism, and has been confined to her room, and a great part of the time to her bed, for four or five hours. Mrs. Long was a kind neighbor and an affectionate wife and mother. She has left her husband, two children, and one step son, to mourn her loss. She will be much missed in her neighborhood. May she rest in peace for the future.
