Issac Lansing

DEATHS
Issac Lansing, a well-known citizen of Chesterton, died at the residence of his father, Robert Lansing, on Saturday evening, November 12. The funeral was held on Monday, Nov. 14, services being conducted in the M. E. church, and were in charge of A. B. Wade Post, No. 208, G. A. R., pf which deceased was a member. The funeral was largely attended. Issac Lansing was born in December, 1845, and had he lived until next month would have been 47 years old. He was taken ill last Thursday, and lived until Saturday evening. He was highly respected by all who knew him, and his death is a sad blow to his aged parents.
