OBITUARIES.
LINCOLN KNAPP.
The subject of this notice died on Wedneday, 21st inst., at his residence on College Hill, of consumption. He was about 24 years of age.

The deceased was born at the family home one mile north of this city April 29th, 1860. In the year 1874 he was baptised into the fellowship of the Valparaiso Baptist church, in which he continued a faithful member until the day of his death. On February 26th, 1882, he was united in marriage with Julia Jaque who survives him. He leaves a father, mother, three brothers, two sisters and a wife to mourn his loss.

The funeral services were conducted by his pastor E. S. Riley, in the presence of a large congregation on the 23d inst., in the Baptist church, after which the remains were interred in the new cemetery. His affliction was long and painful, but now he is at rest. "To die is gain."
