Mandus Johnson
CHESTERTON CHIPS
Mandus, the 16 year old son of Mr. Jonas Johnson, living 3 1/2 miles south of Chesterton, died Friday, June 25, of lung disease. The funeral was held Sunday forenoon in the Swedish Lutheran church, Rev. Holmgrain officiating and was very largely attended. The boy had been troubled with the disease for some time but never suffered much pain until shortly before his death. He was up and in good spirits an hour before he died. He was a very bright boy and the only son.
