OBITUARIES.
WILLIAM HOLLISTER.
On the 4th inst. at his residence in Valparaiso, William Hollister in the 59th year of his age. The deceased was born in Tioga Co., New York, August 30th, 1824, and was the youngest of nine children, all of whom are now dead but one. He came to Porter county in the year 1838. Was married to Miss Harriet Hunt October 1st, 1851, by whom there were born to them five children, three of whom survive him. He leaves his wife with these three children to mourn their loss. The funeral services were conducted by Elder E. S. Riley in the Baptist church on the 6th inst., after which his remains were taken and laid in the Blachly's burying ground, four miles west of Valparaiso.
