Mrs. S. J. Hjalm

DEATHS.
Mrs. Hjalm, wife of S. J. Hjalm, who lives north of Chesterton died on Sunday, the 26th inst. from the effects of a paralytic stroke, aged 41 years, 5 months and 20 days. She was prostrated about a week previous to her death, and though all means were tried to secure her recovery, all efforts proved fruitless. The funeral was held in the Swedish M. E. Church of this place on Tuesday, the 28th inst. and remains interred in the Chesterton cemetery. Deceased leaves a husband and eight children to mourn her loss. The funeral procession which followed the remains to their last resting place was an uncommonly large one, and showed the high esteem in which the lady was held by her neighbors. The family have the sympathy of the community in their sad trial.
