Sarah Haskin

WEDNESDAY.
Died, at Saltillo, Nebraska, April 30, 1885, Mrs. Sarah Haskin, wife of L. N. Haskin, aged 86 years. She leaves a husband and one daughter, the wife of P. Bryerly, of Washington township, this county. Mrs. Haskin was formerly a resident of Porter county but went to Lancaster county, Nebraska, about 24 years ago. She was highly esteemed and loved by all who knew her. She was formerly a member of the Baptist church Valparaiso, Ind. At the time of her death she was a member of the Baptist church, Jamaica, Neb. She held fast the profession of her faith to the end. She was buried in the cemetery at Roca, Neb., the funeral services being held at the M. E. church, Roca, conducted by the writer, assisted by Rev. P. S. Schamp and Rev. T. A. Campbell. So large was the attendance at the funeral, that many could not get into the church.
