LOCAL NEWS.
Died, on Wednesday morning, Oct. 9th, 1889, Laura, wife of Irvin Brush, at her home one mile southeast of Woodville, of brain and spinal fever. The funeral will be held in the M. E. church of Chesterton on Friday, Oct. 11, services beginning at 2 o'clock p. m., and the remains buried in the Chesterton cemetery. Mrs. Brush had been ill but a short time, and her death is a serious calamity to her family, as she leaved a family of four children, the youngest being a babe scarvely four weeks old. The afflicted family have the heartfelt sympathy of the community.
