Mrs. Emmet Fowler

From a letter written by Lewellyn J. Cohoon, of Crawfordsville, to Esq. R. Cohoon and wife of this county, we learn that Mrs. Emmet Fowler, daughter of Esq. Cohoon, died at her home at Fort Dodge, Iowa, on Saturday, the 25th ult., and was buried there. Also that on the 26th ult., Adda, wife of Melross Cohoon another son, of Esq. Cohoon, died at her temporary home at Riverside, California, and she was brought back and buried at her former home near Crawfordsville, Ind. The same letter shows that Ceylon Cohoon, at Riverside, Cal., is sick with weak lungs and not improving. All this in a single letter is a sad blow to Mr. and Mrs. R. Cohoon, and we tender them the sympathy of their acquaintances.
