OBITUARY.
JACOB FLEMMING.

Died, on the 8th instant, at his residence on East Main street in Valparaiso, Mr. Jacob Flemming. The deceased was born in Porter county, Indiana, Sept. 11, 1846. In 1866 he was married to Mattie Fisher by whom he had five children, three of whom are still living to mourn their loss. He was a member of the Baptist church and his funeral services were conducted in that church by the pastor, at 1 o'clock on Sabbath the 10th instant, in the presence of a large congregation, after which the remains were buried at Luther's school house.
