Robert L. Eaton

OBITUARY.
DIED -- At the residence of his father, Pleasant township, on Thursday evening last, Mr. ROBERT L. EATON, in the 20th year of his age.

In the decease of Mr. Eaton, the community has lost one of its most promising young men. Possessed of talents of high order, and enjoying the love and esteem of all who knew him, a wide field of usefulness appeared to be opening before him; but the fell tyrant, death, makes its distinctions. The young -- the talented -- the noble Eaton, has been taken from his aged parents, who almost idolized, and from a community that loved and respected him. But with our sorrows for his death is mingled the heavenly consolation, that he died in the triumphs of the Christian religion, exhorting with his latest breath to his friends around his bedside to endear to meet him in heaven. -- [Communicated.
