Robert Eaton

LOCAL.
Mr. Robert Eaton, 67 years old, who lived alone a mile or two east of Flint Lake, after having chills and fever several days at home was at his own request brought last Tuesday evening by Mr. Jas. Merrill, a neighbor, to a house of Wm. Frakes in this city, when before a doctor who was immediately sent for could reach, he died. An inquest was held over him to determine how he came to his death, and it decided that he died of lung fever. He was poor, and funeral expenses were at first provided for by the coroner, but before it took place a son of the deceased, a poor man succeeded in procuring means for his father's burial, and the coroner surrendered the body to his care. The funeral takes place to-day.
