Cornelius Daly
On last Saturday Mr. Cornelius Daly departed this life at his residence in Liberty township, Porter county, aged 30 years. Mr. Daly was a man who bore an upright character, a good citizen, and a firm adherent to the Catholic faith, -- the faith of his forefathers. His death was a sad loss and will be lamented by the five brothers and one sister who survive him. His funeral took place on Monday at St. Paul's church, and was conducted by Rev. M. O'Reilly, who paid a worthy tribute to his memory. A large procession followed his remains to their last resting place in St. Paul's cemetery. May his soul rest in peace.
