DOINGS AT HOME.
Mr. Axel Lindstrom, of Pullman, attended the funeral of his brother's step daughter, last Tuesday, arriving here Sunday. Mr. Lindstrom is employed in the Pullman Works, and reports that O. R. Hillstrom, well known here, has been promoted to the foremanship of one of the departments, and is rapidly pushing himself into the confidence and favor of the company. His many Chesterton friends will be pleased to learn of his success.
