William Coslett

LOCAL PENCILINGS.
Wm. Coslett, and old resident of Furnessville, was found dead in his bed last Saturday morning. The old gentleman was living with his son-in-law, and for some time had been failing in health. Coroner Coates held a post mortem examination, and rendered a verdict of death from heart disease. The funeral was conducted by Rev. W. Hall, of this place, services being held on Monday, April 21, at the Furnessville church, and the remains buried in the Jackson Center Cemetery. Mr. Coslett was born in Clinton County, Ohio, in March, 1809. He moved to moved to Indiana about forty years ago, and was 81 years old at the time of his death. He was the father of eight children, four of whom are living. He united with the Methodist Church las winter, and died in that faith.
