Chilton

The child of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Chilton, who for months has been a terrible sufferer from a tumor upon the eye, was relieved on Sunday by death. In an early stage of the disease the child's eye-ball was removed, thinking to cure the cancer, but without success, and the tumor grew continually until it covered nearly the whole side of its face and rendered the little creature's appearance terribly shocking. Though a severe blow upon the parents, the child's death from such excruciated condition can but seem a blessing of Providence.
