Robert Campbell

Death of Robert Campbell.
The serious illness of Robert Campbell was announced last week in the Vidette. At that time but little hope of his recovery was entertained and on Friday morning the worst fears of his friends were confirmed when after a long and serious illness he passed from earth. Mr. Campbell had gone to Montana in the early part of the summer for the benefit of his health. He was there prostrated by Montana fever, and when sufficiently recovered to travel returned to his home in this city, where the disease developed in typhoid pneumonia which resulted in his death. Mr. Campbell was born and raised in Valparaiso and has resided here all his life. He was 33 years of age at the time of his death. He leaves a mother and a large family of brothers and sisters who mourn his decease.

Since his fathers death the work of setting up a large estate was entrusted largely to him by his mother who administered on the property.

The obsequies were conducted from the Presbyterian church at 4 o'clock p. m., last Sunday, Rev. Beer officiating, and the remains were interred in the new cemetery.
