Frederick L. Benham

Death of Frederick Benham.
Died, on the 15th inst., at the residence of his parents on East Main street, Valparaiso, Ind., Frederick L. Benham, in the 27th year of his age.

The deceased was born in St. Joseph county, Michigan, April 30th, 1858, and came to this place about four years ago with his brothers. Subsequently his parents moved here with whom he made his home till his death. Last summer he went to New York, hoping that a few months in that climate might enable him to regain his health, but he returned with no improvement. His entire life was a life of affliction, and yet he bore his infirmities with great patience and cheerfulness to the very last. He expressed himself as having fully accepted Christ as his saviour and that he died trusting in His merits. He leaves his parents and four brothers to mourn their loss. His funeral took place at the family residence on the 17th inst., being conducted by Elder E. S. Riley of the Baptist church, after which his body was interred in the new cemetery.
