FORMER RESIDENT OF VALPARAISO DIES IN CHICAGO
(From Tuesday's Daily)

Ralph Bardine, for a number of years at the head of the dry goods department of the Lowenstine store, is dead at his home in Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. Loring Peirce were called there this morning. Mrs. Peirce and Mrs. Bardine are sisters. Mr. Bardine was a victim of pneumonia. He made many friends during his residence here, who will be grieved to hear of his untimely end. He was about 43 years old, and was a prosperous business man. The funeral arrangements are not yet complete.
