The Cadwell Cemetery's exact location is unknown. According to cemetery
information published by the Northwest Indiana Genealogical Society: "There were
2 stones seen in 1953 about 200 ft. south of road 50 N. about 20 ft. into the
woods."
The two burials are of husband and wife Chester and Phila (Daniels) Cadwell. The
Cadwells emigrated to Union Township in Porter County in 1838 and were the
parents of eight children.
