WALLACE JAMES O'KEEFE, D. D. S. - Now successfully engaged in the practice of dentistry in Hammond, Dr. Wallace O'Keefe was born in Porter County on July 11, 1884, the son of Peter and Mary O'Keefe, who were pioneer settlers of Porter County. Doctor O'Keefe attended the common and high schools of that county, after which he entered Valparaiso University and subsequently taught school in Porter County. Following this he entered the Chicago College of Dental Surgery, completing this course in 1911. On December 20 of the same year he established his practice in Hammond, where he has realized a splendid success - the fruits of his training and devotion to his profession. Doctor O'Keefe was married in 1913 to Claire C. Hannon, and to this marriage were born Patricia, Catherine, Jeanne and Hartnett. He is a member of the National and State Dental Societies, Elks, K. of C., Chamber of Commerce and the Hammond Country Club.
