Anna Worester
Obituary.
Mrs. Anna, wife of Ebenezer Worester, whose funeral took place from the residence of Mr. John Hayden, in Valparaiso, Monday, October 25th, was born in Scipio, Saratoga County, N. Y., in the year 1785. She came to Indiana in 1857, and at the time of her death, October 23d, was ninety five years, two months and two days old. The deceased had been a member of the Baptist Church over sixty years. Although greatly afflicted for many years, she bore her affliction with Christian fortitude and patience, longing for the time to come when she would be called home. She was the mother of eight children. Six of whom survive to mourn her loss.
"Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, from henceforth, Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them."
