John Peter Wiseman
Personal Mention.
Died. On Tuesday, May 16, at 10 minutes past ten p. m. John Peter Wiseman, of paralysis, after an illness of two years and a half, aged 60 years and 11 days. The funeral was held Thursday, services being conducted in the Chesterton Catholic Church, and the remains buried in the Catholic cemetery. Deceased was an old settler of Porter county, locating in Jackson township about 30 years ago. He was stricken with paralysis two and one half years ago, while working on a threshing machine, and since then has been an invalid. He leaves a family of a wife and seven living children to mourn his death. Mr. Wiseman was a man widely known, who had hosts of friends, who will regret to hear of his death.
