Clara Viola Windle
Obituary.
Clara Viola Windle (Mrs. Seth Eason), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Temple Windle, was born in Valparaiso, Ind., June 18th, 1853. On the 19th of October, 1880, she was united in marriage to Mr. Seth Eason, and on the 8th of October, 1884, she left the earthly house of her tabernacle for a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. She lived while here a quiet and retired, but a singularly pure and beautiful life. Throughout her protracted sickness she was resigned and patient, and as the time of her departure drew near after having thoughtfully made every disposition possible in hehalf of those whom she loved, she calmly awaited the call of her heavenly Father to be absent from the body and at home with the Lord. For years previous to her death she had been a member of the Presbyterian church, and though disbarred by ill health from a conspicuous and active share in church work, always maintained a consistent walk and humbly adorned the profession she had made. It is proper to say here that this brief notice contributed by her pastor and friend of many years has been delayed by his absence and prospective removal.
