Edgar Williams
Last Thursday a stranger named Edgar Williams died in a deserted farmhouse at Deep River in this county. He had been found ill by the roadside and carried inside. Nothing was known of him and he was supposed to be a tramp. He died on typhoid fever. Tuesday Marshal Sergeant, of Valparaiso, received a letter from George Williams in Evans, Ill., inclosing a clipping from a Chicago paper descriptive of the stranger, and asking for a description of the body. He believes the man to have been his brother, and in case of identification the body will probably be exhumed and taken back to Illinois.
