Mary A. White
DIED,
In this place, on Friday last, MRS. MARY A., consort of Mr. J. G. WHITE, of this village, aged about 27 years. Her disease was a protracted consumption, which she bore with the greatest fortitude and christian resignation. She died with the fullest assurance of a blissful immortality, through the redeeming blood of the crucified Savior.

DEATH OF MY MOTHER.
'Tis finished -- the conflict is passed,
The heaven born spirit is fled;
Her wish is accomplished at last,
And now, she's entombed with the dead!
The months of affliction are o'er,
The days and the nights of distress;
We see her in anguish no more --
She has gained her happy release.
No sickness, or sorrow, or pain,
Shall ever disquiet her now;
For death to her spirit was gain,
Since Christ was her pattern below.
Her spirit has taken its flight,
To mansions of glory above;
To mingle with angels of light,
And dwell in the kingdom of love.
The victory now is obtained,
She is gone her dear Savior to see;
Her wishes, she fully has gained,
She's now where she longed to be.
The let us forbear to complain,
That she is now gone from our sight;
We soon shall behold her again,
With new and redoubted light.
The lids so seldom could close --
By sorrow forbidden to sleep:
Sealed up in eternal respose,
Have strangely forgotten to weep.
